The highly anticipated results of the ScotWind license round were announced earlier this week. 17 licences with a total of 25GW capacity were handed out, with fees totalling almost £700 million.
Floating wind accounts for 10 of the 17 licences equating to almost 15GW capacity. This could mark Scotland as the world leader in floating wind.
These 17 projects will have a huge role to play in Scotland's energy future and the transition to net zero.
